About Holly
Hi, I’m Holly — acupuncturist, ordained Buddhist, and passionate advocate for healing through Chinese medicine to change lives.
I help people feel better in their bodies, minds, and day-to-day lives through grounded, personalised acupuncture rooted in the wisdom of East Asian medicine. I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Acupuncture (BSc), I’m a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC), fully insured, and registered with Nottingham City Council — so you're in safe, professional hands.
I’ve completed postgraduate training in musculoskeletal acupuncture, advanced facial cosmetic acupuncture, diagnostic skills, and continue studying Applied Channel Theory with Jason Robertson. But beyond the qualifications, what matters most is seeing people experience real, lasting change. That’s what this medicine is about.
I live what I offer — daily meditation, yoga, Qi Gong, seasonal eating, and regular Buddhist retreats all support how I show up in clinic. As an ordained Buddhist with over 13 years of meditation experience, my personal practice is about living the teachings, bringing everything I learn into daily life. I also teach yoga and meditation at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre and on retreat.
Chinese medicine is ancient, profound, and deeply human. If you're looking for a more connected, balanced approach to health – I’d love to support you.
My Approach
I genuinely care about every person I treat. You’re not just a symptom or condition — I take the time to really understand what’s going on for you, so your treatment is tailored, personal, and grounded in what you need.
Alongside acupuncture, I sometimes bring in tools from yoga, meditation, or Buddhist teachings — if they feel right for you. Everything is offered with care, and nothing is one-size-fits-all.
You’ll find me in my peaceful clinic in the heart of Hockley, Nottingham — easy to get to by bus, tram, and car.
